The Abilene High Eagles take the field with Evin Abbe getting ready to start his 25th game as the quarterback for Abilene High.

One thing he has proven in that time, he is tough as nails.

Abbe is fighting a knee injury, and he bruised his hand last week, But nothing is going to keep him off the field.

"The coaches really do a good job inplanting in our minds the mental toughness, and that's a lot of it because if you put it in the back of your mind and dont really worry about it, then it doesnt bother you. I just love the game of football and want to be out there with the guys, dont want anything to stop me from that." continues Quarterback Evin Abbe.

"If told many, many people, since ive been here im not sure that we've ever had a tougher quarterback as far as having to direct our offense under durress." adds Coach Warren.

The Eagle open the 2012 playoffs on Saturday in Odessa. They face El Paso Montwood at 1 at Ratliff Stadium.
