Hamlin Advances With 40-14 Victory

The Hamlin Piped Pipers started the Class A Division 2 playoffs with a 40-14 victory over the Electra Tigers.
The Pipers started fast and never looked back.
Darrius Lee took a pitch on an option play in the 1st quarter and scored from 9 yards out to give Hamlin the lead.
On the next drive, the Pipers hand the ball to Dusty Hall on the reverse. He scores, and Hamlin takes a 13-0 lead after the missed PAT.
Hamlin adds to that lead in the 2nd quarter. Taylor Lambert keeps the the ball on the option and goes in untouched. Pipers lead it 19-0 at halftime.
Hamlin went on to beat Electra, 40-14.
