Registration Open Now for Abilene Women's Basketball League

Registration for the Women's Basketball League is now underway at the City of Abilene's Recreation Division.

The league is open for all women 18 years of age and older.

The season, beginning Monday, January 7, will include eight games and an end-of-season tournament.

Games will take place Monday nights at Cesar Chavez South Park Recreation Center located at 1002 Cherry St.

The entry fee is $350 per team and registration begins Monday, Nov. 19 and ends Friday, December 21.

To register, visit the City's Community Services office at 633 Walnut St.

A mandatory meeting for team managers will be held Thursday, January 3 at 6 p.m. at Cesar Chavez South Park Recreation Center, 102 Cherry St.
