Back in Jail After Judge Grants Second Chance

Joseph Fowler is back in jail Monday evening after a warrant was issued to revoke his probation.

It was two weeks ago when a state district judge in Abilene said he was giving the 19-year-old Fowler another chance with a sentence of five years probation.

Fowler was sentenced for killing his friend, Michael Huffman, during a night of drug and alcohol use.

After changing his story several times, Fowler finally testified that he, Huffman and another friend were playing Russian Roulette when the gun went off, killing Huffman.

Fowler was recently arrested after failing to pay a fine for public intoxication.

It is possible that the judge will revoke his probation and send him to prison for five years.

Comments

I hope they do send him to prison. Probation for murder is absurd.
