The Wylie Bulldogs are still alive after the 1st round of the postseason thanks to their 49-21 victory over Clint Mountainview.

This week they are getting ready for Andrews in the 2nd round, but the talk around the players and around town is the potential match up with top ranked Stephenville next week.

It would be easy to look past a 7 and 4 Andrews team but coach Sandifer is concerned about that happening  with his team.

"You don't talk about it; you just play. We teach our kids a respect for the game of football, and a respect for their opponent. We're big on that and you better take advantage of the opportunity that's given to you. This Friday night that opportunity is playing Andrews in San Angelo," said head coach Hugh Sandifer.

"It doesn't matter who you play in the weeks after this next week. The only thing you can take care of is Andrews right now. You can't take it more than one game at a time," said Garrett Martin.

"We can only sieze the moment. If great things happen to us, we'll take care of that other stuff later.  We don't adress it. We don't talk about it because it's nothing we can control," said Sandifer."

Wylie is focused  on this Friday night in San Angelo in the 2nd round. The Bulldogs meet Andrews at San Angelo Stadium at 7:30.
