Wylie Jumps in Harris Ratings After Bi-District Win

Updated: November 19, 2012
After the Bi-District round of the playoffs a total of six Big Country teams remain in the top ten in the Harris Ratings. The Wylie Bulldogs are this week's biggest movers.

Friday night the Bulldogs were able to run out to a 35-0 lead over Clint Mountain View in Odessa. Following the impressive Bi-District victory Wylie (#3) jumped two spots this week after spending a long period of time at number five. There was also another shake up in Class 3A with Stephenville (#2) dropping from the top spot for the firs time this year. The Yellow Jackets were replaced by Navasota (#1) who was right behind Stephenville from the start of the season.

Few changes in the Class 5A list this week. That includes the Abilene High Eagles (#10); who held on to their spot in the top ten after a 34-15 win over El Paso Montwood Saturday afternoon.

With the rest of the top tens in the Harris Ratings having bye weeks in the playoffs there were few moves that affected Big Country teams.

Here's a list of every Big Country team currently in the top ten in their class.
