Usually people put on make up to cover up flaws. But that isn't true for Ann Baker.

"Came to see if I could put on another face and look a little pretty," she explained.

Ann is fighting breast cancer. Originally told she had only a few months to live, she's getting ready for yet another round of chemo, three years later, with a makeover.

"A lot of people, when they discover they have cancer, they think they're supposed to look bad. They think, for some psychological reason that they're supposed to look sick," Ann said.

The Look Good Feel Better workshop gives women fighting cancer top of the line cosmetics while showing them how to take care of their hair and skin while going through treatment.

"Help to train them in how to apply their make up, how to keep their skin cleansed well and how important sanitation is," said workshop facilitator Nell Stucker.

"You don't always feel like putting on make up or looking the best you can, but if you do, you actually do feel better about yourself," Ann said.

Ann will start that next round of chemotherapy Monday, and said she's ready, because doing something for herself makes a huge difference.

"It feels good. You know, to feel like you're doing everything that you can for yourself," she explained. "Even to look good, feel better."

And the end result?

"Well I feel a lot better. I feel good," she laughed. "I didn't feel bad when i came in, but I feel better."
