Family Advocacy Representative Testifies Against CPS During Dyess Airman Hearing

During the hearing for Dyess Airman Christopher Perez in connection with the Klapheke case, a member of the Family Advocacy group on Dyess Air Force Base testified Monday that CPS actually closed their investigation into the Klapheke family case six days before Tiffany found her daughter dead in her crib.
The representative said CPS had not been doing monthly home checks as they are required to do, and that they had not done a home visit before closing the case, also as required.
Perhaps the most shocking testimony into the CPS case came when he said CPS actually had not seen the family since October of 2011.
He said he called CPS to find out why they were not doing monthly visits and never received a call back.
A detective with the Abilene Police Department said on the stand, CPS withheld documents from investigators that made CPS look suspect.
Several CPS personnel are currently on leave pending the investigation.

The sad thing is that Tiffany will probably get off because CPS messed up. She will probably say "someone else" could have stopped this. This is "their" fault. Sad.
