Police say the 83-year-old man driving the sport utility vehicle that hit a woman and a parked car before slamming into a house may need a medical revue to determine if he should keep his driver's license.
The Abilene police traffic officer investigating the incident made the medical advisory board notification through the Department of Public Safety in order to get a medical assessment of the driver's ability.
David Arp, the driver, got a citation for unsafe backing.
Ambulance attendants took 46-year-old Victoria Hindman to a local hospital.
Police say the SUV hit Hindman and the front tire ran over her legs.
Police say her injuries are not life-threatening.
