Black Friday... it is not for the faint of heart.

"I got out here about 6:00 this morning," says Carla Hebert.

Hebert is the first person in Best Buy's line and she is well equipped with her Black Friday survival kit.

She says, "Need a tent. This year I brought a tent because it's supposed to rain and just food."

This has become a ritual  for Hebert and her son, but for Susan Ellis, it is fairly new.

"It's not that bad," says Ellis.

Last year was the first time Ellis camped out for Black Friday sales and was able to save hundreds of dollars, in which she used to take a trip to Vegas.

"If I can save $400 and all I have to do is sit here, I'll do it," she says.

Some may call her crazy, but to those who do, Ellis says, "Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching, because while you're spending $3 to 400 dollars on a tv for your Christmas present because you couldn't get the deal, i'm sorry. I'm going to be saving that money and be spending it on something else."

For them, it is a survival of the fittest, there's nothing they won't do in the name of a good sale.
