Black Friday Deals: Saver or Marketing Ploy?

Before the sun was up, shoppers, like Kaitlyn Callaway, were leaving stores with Black Friday finds in hand.
"There's limited amounts, so they end up fighting for it inside the store", says Callaway.
From clothes, to toys, and everything in between, shoppers grabbed handfuls of marked down deals, and tell us they ended up spending more than they had planned to.
But some were on a retail mission, "I look at the ads at home and know exactly what I want to get, and then I get it", Sheri Phillips, shopper, tells us.
Others roamed the store isles for any discounts that caught their eye.
"Some things are not priced down but a few dollars, but other things you really save, if you average it", Callaway explains.
Shoppers of all ages packed into department stores bright and early to get a head start on Christmas shopping, emptying the store shelves, and their wallets. But left with bags full of bargains.
Several Black Friday specials run until midnight, and if you missed out on the deals, there is always Cyber Monday coming up, allowing you to get in on discounts from the comfort of your home.
