Eldorado jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter, but in the second stanza the Hamlin defense would turn the game. A sack by River Hall would help set up the Pipers with good field position.
Quarterback Taylor Lambert would get the Pipers within striking distance with a scramble that ended at the one yard line. That helped set up a short touchdown run by Darius Lee.
The Pipers took a 7-3 lead at that point.
Eldorado would stay in the game, and make it interesting in the end. An interception by the Pied Pipers in the endzone with less than a minute to go secured the 21-17 victory.
