A quick start in the first half propelled the Wylie Bulldogs to a second round win over Andrews on Friday night.

In fact, the Bulldogs started the game off with a bang when Garrett Martin returned the opening kick-off 95 yards for a touchdown.

A quick turnover gave the Bulldogs the ball back, and Martin once again found the endzone. In just a matter of a couple minutes Wylie jumped out to a 14-0 lead.

By the end of the first half the Bulldogs had wrapped up 56 points, and were able to hold on for the shutout and the victory in San Angelo.

The Bulldogs will take on Stephenville next on Friday night in Wichita Falls.
