On the first drive of the game the Eagles chose to go for it on fourth down. Derek Scott dind't just pick up the first down with his arm, he threw it for a touchdown to Nate Kittley. Just like that the Eagles were up 7-0.
Then the defense it was the defense's turn to get in on the action with an interception by Xavier Johnson. He would take it back to the twenty yard line and give the offense great field position.
Marcell Porter would do the rest and take it in for a touchdown to give AHS a 14-0 lead.
Lamar would answer both scores, but an Evin Abbe pass to Kittley in the second quarter would give the Eagles a lead going into halftime.
In the second half, and particularly the fourth quarter, the Eagles would pull away. They would go on to win 53-34 in Arlington.
