Epidemics, global killers and drug resistant diseases aren't just things of the past. The Buffalo Gap Historic Village has announced it's newest exhibit: Infectious Diseases of the Texas Frontier.

Visitors are invited to discover what our Texas Frontier ancestors had to battle over 100 years ago--influenza of 1918, smallpox, yellow fever, tuberculosis, typhoid, cholera--and whether or not the threats still remain in the 21st century.

The exhibit opens on Saturday, December 1.

Buffalo Gap Historic Village is located at 133 North William Street in Buffalo Gap.
