It's a unique device that acts as a wristband. These days you have to keep yourself from danger and what better way to do so, than with a pepper spray compacted around your wrist.

Owner Brian Bernaird Jr. of Band-It, has taken the seriousness of being safe and applied it to everyday wear. With a simple press on its trigger, what looks like a wristband shoots out pepper spray against its attackers. The best feature is that it's hands-free and avoid the hassle of digging through a bag.

He stopped by on Monday's show to discuss the history and reasons behind this device to prove that self-defense mechanisms applies to both men and women.

"A lot of men gets attacked just as much as women, so they could use it as a self-defense mechanism as well," says Bernaird.
