The Wylie Bulldogs take on Stephenville on Friday in a battle between the highest ranked team
in Division 1.

Wylie is led by running back Garrett Martin on offense.

The Bulldogs back is leading the team in rushing with almost 14-hundred yards and he's found the end zone 18 times.

Martin missed 2 games with an injury, and since his return, he's run for 427 yards and 10 touchdowns, including a kickoff return last week. He has definitely flipped a switch.

"He came back from a pretty severe injury, and was kind of limited I thought. I think each week he's getting stronger, he's getting more confidence where he can make some cuts. He's playing stronger, [and] more physical when he's running the football," said head coach Hugh Sandifer.

"It's always fun to come back from an injury, and get back in the swing of things. The first game I think I was kind of iffy on it. It's gotten better every week. You always got to run harder in the playoffs. You alwasy got to try harder in the playoffs.  You always got to have that chip on your shoulder in the playoffs and the games we're about to play," said Garrett Martin.

Here's the match up. The Bulldogs take on Stephenville up in Wichita Falls on Friday night. Wylie is 12-0. Stephenville is 10-1. They will get started at 7:30.
