Abilene Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a wreck on the Winters Freeway Tuesday morning, where traffic was slowed in the southbound lanes near South 7 Street due to the collision.

A truck attempted to merge from the inside lane to the outside, hitting a car, causing two other cars to collide in a secondary collision.

One man was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

People at the scene say the man was walking around on his own before being transported.
