Brownwood Seeking Talent for Christmas Festival

The stage is set for the 2012 Christmas Under the Stars Festival, and the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking local talent to help entertain during the event.

Singers, dancers, and other entertainers will have the chance to perform on the live stage during the festival. The live stage will be open at Adams Street Community Center during the annual event on December 7 and 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Those interested in performing can register by calling the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce at 325-646-9535.

The 4th annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival will also feature holiday games, crafts, food and attractions for kids of all ages. 

The event will take place on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Depot Complex, Adams Street Community Center, and the Lehnis Railroad Museum. 

Key attractions will include Mr. and Mrs. Claus, ice skating, rock climbing wall, and several holiday themed contests.
