Seven Volleyball Players from the Big Country Receive All-State Honors

A total of seven players from the Big Country were named to the All-State Team by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Two of them are from the Class 3A State Champion Wylie Bulldogs. Seniors Kylie Jenkins, and Tucker Smith were both named to the All-State Team.

In Class 2A, Heather Merket of Colorado City, Landre Griffin of Breckenridge, and Megan Verette of Hawley all made the cut.

Meanwhile in Class 1A Kelli Schkade and Bristyn Vickers of Albany were named to the All-State Team.
