Nana Bear's Notions has made a name for itself in Snyder as the go-to for anything fabric and quilting. With this season, the owner has not only focused inviting people to visit their colorful store, but to help make a difference.

Located in the downtown square, owner Hope Heaton sells anything from individual pieces, quilting sets, books, yards of fabric, and unique items such as painted wine bottles.

Her services extends more than shopping, but classes. On particular days, Heaton teach quilting classes for anyone interested in learning or furthering their skills.

For this Christmas season, Heaton has partnered with Hope Lodge in Lubbock. With the help of others, she supplies those in the facility a warm blanket to cozy up to during the winter days. Heaton has already provided several bundles and continues to do more. She asks for quilters to create blankets and drop of at her store or at Hope Lodge in Lubbock.

"It's just a good way to help spread love," says Heaton.
