HEB Feeds Families for Holidays

Updated: November 29, 2012
HEB is helping those in need this holiday season.

Thursday, the grocery store donated a truckload of HEB cornflakes to the Food Bank of West Central Texas here in Abilene.

The cereal will help provide much needed nutritious breakfasts to families over the holidays.

One truckload is enough to make 145,000 bowls.

The Abilene HEB is not the only store participating, rather, as a company, HEB trucks will deliver enough cereal to serve 2.5 million bowls to 16 food banks across Texas.
