The Stamford Bulldogs used a big 1st half to beat Quanah for the Regional championship.

Quanah took the lead on their 1st possession, 8-0, but Hagen Hutchinson and Dalton Mathis led the Bulldogs to a 35 point outburst to take control of the game.

Hutchinson found Mathis for 3 touchdowns on Stamford's 1st 3 possessions, and Hutchinson ran for 2 more scores to close the half.

Stamford put the game away in the 3rd quarter. Quanah scored at the end of the 1st half to make it a 19 point game and opened the 2nd half with an onside kick. James Washington put any thoughts of a comeback by Quanah to rest on that drive. He intercepted the Indians pass and returned it 102 yards to put Stamford in front 41-16 in the 3rd quarter.

The Bulldogs will take on the winner of the Stratford/Panhandle game that is going to be played Friday night in Amarillo.
