The Abilene High Eagles continue their playoff run on Saturday afternoon in Justin.

Back in Week 6 of the season, the Eagles lost district leading receiver Keevan Lucas to a knee injury.

Losing a player like that will cripple most offensives, but others have taken up the slack to lead the Eagles offense. A fact that hasn't escaped Lucas' attention.

"It's just really been great to see how the team is coming together and, it's hard to watch and know  that 'dang, i could be making a play right now' but, I mean, I have a lot of confidence in them, like I said, and I know that when the time comes they will be able to make a play- Doug, Grant, Devonta, all of them- they'll be able to make a play when the time is right," Says Keevan Lucas.

The Eagles' Grand Alexander is the leading receiver for the Eagles since Lucas' injury with 35 catches and 4 touchdowns.
