Man Killed in Deadly Train Accident

Police tell KTAB that as a train was approaching the bridge at Butternut and South First, the conductor noticed a man laying on the tracks.

The train immediately slammed on the brakes but was not able to stop in time.

The man was ran over and killed.

APD is uncertain what the man was doing on the tracks or whether or not it was intentional.
