Haskell has a total of nineteen local merchants, and they're inviting people throughout Big Country to participate in their Holidays In Haskell.

From November 26th to December 22nd, people can shop at their local merchants and in return, receive tickets for a drawing. Their drawing will be held at the square at December 8th and 22nd. The businesses have donated gift items for the drawing, and the Haskell of Chamber of Commerce will be giving away a total of $600.

Sally Reuffer of Haskell Chamber of Commerce says it's a good reason for people to shop locally and get to know the owners in a first-name basis.
