(WBBH) A new laser treatment is helping sick and wounded pets heal faster and with less pain.

The "K-Laser" bombards cells with energy, helping them heal three times faster.

Veterinarians say it works by increasing circulation, while at the same time fighting inflammation.

THe treatments cost roughly $30 per session, and several sessions are usually needed over the course of three to four weeks.
