With proper early care, toothaches can easily be prevented. Unfortunately, many ignore the signs which in turn become painful.

For this holiday season, Dr. Erin Stockton of Abilene Dental advises people to get their regular check-up and quickly make an appointment when a tooth becomes a bother.

Symptoms can easily be identified if there's a sharp sensitivity to certain food objects.

The worst scenario is dealing with toothaches during the holidays so in order to prevent that, visit your local dentist.
