A Breckenridge woman died after being struck by a vehicle Monday evening.

Manuella Trevizo, 63, was pronounced dead after she was struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of South Breckenridge Ave.

Doug Moore, 42, called 911 and reported that he thought he had hit someone with his vehicle as he was coming into town on U.S. 183.

The accident occurred near the First Christian Church.

Breckenridge Police Department officer Scott Gabriel, BPD Sgt. Jeff Baker and BPD Chief Larry Mahan assisted with the scene.

Moore was administered a required blood test at the Stephens County Law Enforcement Center.

Mahan said alcohol is not a factor in the accident and that Trevizo was wearing very dark clothing at the time of the accident.
