Abilene Police Department Recruits

The police department is currently looking for recruits for its 51st police academy. They are looking for 15 or more recruits to last them to 2014 and beyond. Right now APD is fully staffed at 189 sworn officers, but by the time the new recruits graduate, it will be time to replace officers who plan to retire in the next few months.
