The Munday Moguls and Albany meet in the quarterfinals Friday night.

Munday is ranked #1 in the state, and this particular senior class is working on it's 3rd straight appearance in the postseason.

They aren't new to the playoffs, but it's still an exciting time of the year.

"I think every year is similar in how excited the community  gets, and the boys are always excited to be in the playoffs," says head coach Patrick Corcoran.

"It's high school football, so the atmosphere is always good, and playoff football just gets even better, and then it gets even better in December," adds Jake Myers.

"It's almost not as exciting as last year because it was the first time being that deep, but the atmosphere still gets pretty high this late in the season, knowing there's only a couple teams left," continues Logan Groves.

The fun continues Friday night for the Moguls. They take on the 5th ranked Albany Linos in Clyde at 7:30 p.m.
