For the Stamford Bulldogs, the road through the post season last year is fresh on their minds. Especially since that experience has helped this team realize what's expected of them if they want to be successful this season.

"One thing I've noticed that a little bit different this year is that our kids are really tending to business a lot better, really focused, because I think they've had a taste of what it's like to play under one of the biggest stages in America at Cowboys Stadium, and they are really hungry and would love an opportunity to get back there," says head coach Wayne Hutchinson.

"We've been to State in Football last year and Baseball three years in a row, you know, we just know what it takes this time of year," adds senior Hagen Hutchinson.

"One of the things this year that Coach Hutch keeps saying in the playoffs is just 'one play, one game at a time. We cant get ahead of ourselves.' We know what it feels like to play at Dallas, but we just have to take one game at a time if we want to get back there again," says senior Dalton Mathis.

"This is really one of the most mature ball clubs that I've had. We have a lot of Juniors, Seniors, a lot of maturity. I think that was obvious in last week's game. We started off a little shaky against a really good Quanah football team, a lot of football teams that aren't as mature as we are might've folded a little bit. But our kids just took that and said, 'You know what, let's get this thing fixed and get back to where we are capable of playing'," adds coach Hutchinson.

And as their quarterfinals game against Stratford approaches, experience, they feel, will give them the upper hand.
