Brownwood Receives Award for National Night Out

Congratulations are in order for Brown County. They are the recent recipients of an award for their National Night Out.
Brown county placed 27 out of 284 submissions for their efforts in uniting the community.
In October, over 60 block parties were held in Brown County for National Night Out.
The event was all about getting to know your neighbors and the leaders of the community. The hope is that by knowing each other, you look out for one another.
The award will be given in a formal presentation in January.
