Helicopter Makes Successful Emergency Landing

A helicopter made a hard landing in a wheat field near Abilene Regional Airport on Interstate 20 and east Highway 80 at Elmdale Road.

Two people were on board when the engine lost power and the helicopter had to land.

Neither of the occupants were hurt.
