The Throckmorton Greyhounds are on their way back to the state title game after defeating Turkey Valley in Snyder Saturday night.

The Greyhounds struck first, and then put another touchdown on the board with a run by Rawlin Morrell. That extended the Greyhound lead to 14-8.

Then Turkey Valley would take a 24-14 lead, but the Greyhounds weren't done quite yet.

A touchdown run by Trinity Haggard would cut the Turkey Valley lead to just two points. Then later in the second quarter Nathan Riley would find the endzone.

That score would help give Throckmorton a 34-28 lead going into the locker-room at halftime. The Greyhounds wouldn't look back from there, as they pulled away to take down Turkey Valley by the score of 60-40.

Up next for Throckmorton is a date with Abbott in the state title game next Saturday at 7 pm at Shotwell Stadium.
