US Hwy 277 Re-Opens Near View After Armed Subject Report

Road has reopened after an armed subject resulted in the Taylor County Sheriff's shutting down all traffic along US Highway 277 just southwest of View in central Taylor County.

There is no additional information at this time, but updates will follow as they become available.

Taylor County Sheriff's deputies are on the scene of a man with a gun call on Braune Road at US Highway 277 near View.

Reports indicate the man is sitting outside of his home with a handgun. As a precaution, deputies have blocked off the highway as of 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.
