Stamford Bulldogs Looking To Head Back To Cowboys Stadium

The Stamford Bulldogs are looking for a return trip to the state championship game.

The goal every season is to win a state championship, but a new incentive has been added now that the title games are played at Cowboys Stadium. The Bulldogs want to GO BACK, but they have to take care of business this week.

"We've had that taste of getting to go to Texas Stadium.  It's a great feeling to get to go there. It's definitely in the back of our mind. I know our eyes are on the prize at the end, but we talk on a daily basis, we've got to take one play at a time. We have to take one game at a time. The Italy Gladiators are between us and Texas Stadium," said Head coach Wayne Hutchinson.

"I'd love to go back. Last year we were juniors, and this year most of us are seniors. It's our last year. Pretty much the only thing we've got to look forward to. If we make it back to state, that's going to be the last game we play. The way I see it, we've went this far, might as well win it all," said Daniel Medina.

The Bulldogs and Italy play their semifinal game on Friday night. They start at 7:30 in Mineral Wells.
