Throckmorton Greyhounds Continue Their Winning Ways

2 State Champions will be crowned in 6-Man football on Saturday.

The Throckmorton Greyhounds are making a habit out of going to the State Championship game. This is their 3rd trip to State in a row, and they are winning games at an amazing clip.

In the last 3 seasons, the Hounds have won 41 games with just 2 losses. In short, Throckmorton is dominating 6-man Division 1, right now.

"It takes a lot of dedication, you know, to just come out and win games like we do. Sometimes we might not have the best athletes and stuff, but it's definitely a tradition thing. We come out here and we are well coached, and we just work hard." Says Levi Taylor

"Going the three out of four years of high school, it's been a blessing. Not many kids can do that, but it all comes down to coaching and the players. We've had great players come through here." Adds Gary Farquhar.

Throckmorton and Abbott meet on Saturday night at Shotwell Stadium. That game kicks off at 7.
