If you drive around Throckmorton, you will see signs all over town, like the one behind me, that reads 'State Champions in 05 and 2011.' Now this 2012 team is ready to add 2012 to those signs, and on the back of their practice jersey's it simply reads 'Repeat.' One word that makes a very big statement.

"It's going to be a great accomplishment knowing that Throckmorton's never done it, had two back to back State Titles. We've been very well coached, very well motivated this season, I mean, it's just been a great season to motivate us to win that second State Championship." Says Senior Gary Farquhar.

"It's just awesome to be there two years in a row, and then to come back and have a chance to win it again, it's awesome.  It's a great accomplishment for Throckmorton, and for our kids and just something awesome to do for our coach." Adds Levi Taylor.

"Being there three times, our  of the four, we know what the crowds like, we know what the intensity has to be. We know how you have to play, you cant be nervous at all, experience is key." Continues Farquhar.

Now the Greyhounds have the opportunity to make history and grab another State Title on Saturday at 7pm against Abbott at Shotwell Stadium.
