CHS Lady Cougar Signs With Cisco College

Cooper Cougars senior Katelyn Lewis signed her national letter of intent with Cisco College to play volleyball for the Lady Wranglers. Lewis joins a program that was 10-17 last year, and she is ready to get there help turn things around.

"I feel like I've always been a leader on the court, and so it is very exciting to get to be a part of that as they're growing and I'm just really excited to be a part of it " Says Katelyn Lewis.

"She's an impact player. I think she has the leadership skills to help take a team that's on it's way up and turn it around. She definitely has that background." Adds Head Volleyball Coach Nora Campbell.

Lewis was Honorable Mention All-District 2-5A for Cooper this year. Now it's on to Cisco.
