Police Investigate Officer Involved Shooting at Abilene Business

Abilene police are still on the scene at Abilene Gold Exchange. On Thursday, Marcus Cass, one of the owners of the business was killed by an Abilene officer as he was trying to serve a search warrant for certain business documents.

Police have not said what specific documents they were looking for or how long the investigation had been going on.

Cass' body has been sent for an autopsy. The Texas Rangers are now investigating the incident.
