(WESH) A teenager did his best to interrupt a robbery at a Florida Walmart early Wednesday morning, and later helped police in their arrest.

The incident was caught on surveillance camera.

Walmart employees said the man seen in the video grabbing the money bags stuffed with cash from the checkout lines is Victor Perez-Hernandez.

"I hear this lady screaming, she's running after this guy screaming, 'Stop him, stop him,'" said Tyler Camp.

Camp, 18, didn't need any more encouragement.

He can be seen in the video chasing the robber out the door.

He got within a couple of steps outside, when he got a threat.

"I was planning to go get him, but when he said he had a gun, I just froze. You can take that, it's not worth my life, for a couple thousand dollars," he said. "When he told me he was going to shoot me, he was reaching in his pants, and I told him he could just go."
