Unseasonable warmth will continue today as we continue to see temperatures about 10 degrees above normal under mostly sunny skies. Temps should get into the mid 60's and with low humidity and moderate winds, we are watching fire danger across the Big Country.

Tonight will be clear and we will cool down to around 40 degrees. Tomorrow temperatures should get into the mid to upper 70's. The record for December 18th is 78 here in Abilene and we will give that number a run for its money.

A cold front will pass through on Wednesday, probably not affecting the temperatures much until overnight, however Wednesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with temps in the low 70's.

Wednesday into Thursday temperatures will dip down to the freezing point and Thursdays high temperature will be about 20 degrees colder, in the lower 50's.

By next weekend temperatures should return to the mid 60's under mostly sunny skies.
