A well above average one on tap for today and the best day for any outdoor activities for the foreseeable future. We should have mostly sunny skies all day long and temperatures in the mid 70's, giving the record of 78 a chance at falling. Winds will be moderate and humidity will be down, so fire danger watches and warnings have been issued for the Big Country.

Tonight will be a nice pleasant one with a few clouds and temperatures in the lower 50's.

Tomorrow, clouds will move into the area and the winds will pick up significantly as a cold front approaches. We should still be able to get into the mid to upper 70's, near tomorrow's record of 80.

The cold front will be dry, but behind it temperatures will be much colder, with overnight low tomorrow night around freezing and daytime high on Thursday right around the 50 degree mark.

Thursday night will be another night below freezing, then as we head through the end of the week into the weekend temperatures will return to the mid 60's for daytime highs and upper 30's for overnight lows.
