BCH Sports reporter Eric Boynton had the opportunity to talk with the BCH Player of the Year Hagen Hutchinson.

ERIC - Hagen if you look at the number you guys have put up, and you especially this year. 44 touchdowns passing, only six interceptions, and 25 touchdowns rushing. What's allowing you guys to put up those numbers, and especially you?

HAGEN - "I think we've got so many threats on our offense you can't just stop one guy. You've really got to defend the hole field, and it really just opens up a lot. for our offense. You know, our offensive line, I think they're the best in the state  Their pass blocking is unrealy and they open up the running lanes."

ERIC You're also a two way player. Your defense allowing 12 points a game this year. [Your team] has really stepped up on that side of the ball. Can you talk a little bit about what you guys are doing on the defensive side of the ball?

HAGEN -"We're a senior laden team, and we've got a lot of maturity from last year. We've really turned that into what our defense has become this year. We're really discaplined. We fly to the ball. We go after the ball and gang tackle."

ERIC - You mentioned it's a senior laden team. You're one of those seinors. What is it like to know that, no matter what, you're last game is going to be at Cowboys Stadium?

It's and awesome feeling. You can't go out any better than that. You've just got to bring home the win. We've dreamed about this since we were little kids. To go out like this is unbelievable."

The Stamford Bulldogs will get their chance to go out on top and as State Champions Thursday afternoon when they take on Mart.
