Munday is one of the schools in Texas that is used to playing for the state championship.

They have 2 state championships in school history with 4 appearances, and they went to Cowboys Stadium last year.

10 of the players on this team have family members that either won a state championship or played a title in the past.

It's a family affair for the Moguls.

"It's something that Munday kids have heard ever since they could walk. That football, and this teams done this and this teams done that. There's a lot of talking that goes back and forth among the family about who's better and different things like that," said Patrick Corcoran.

"Every time we go out and play it's not just for us. It's for the school. It's for the community. We do have a great tradition of football here in Munday. It's something everybody talks about. So, to be on a team that wins state...it's a big deal around here," said   Ryder Cude.

"To get that third title would be great for this community. To have the amount of talent that's come through here through the years in a town this size is an amazing thing. The commuity supports these young men extremely well, and they're proud of them," said Corcoran."

Munday takes on Tenaha in the Class A Division II state championship game on Thursday. That game is at noon at Cowboys Stadium.
