Car Crashes into Church

A call came in a little after 11 a.m. Wednesday alerting police that a car had crashed into a church.

The crash occurred on 2510 South 14 street.

The sole occupant and driver, Annabell Smith, 88, was driving in the parking lot and accelerated instead of braking, resulting in her crashing into the church.

There were no injuries, and no applicable violation for citation.

A report was done to document this crash.
