This year, the Texas Department of Transportation is cracking down on drunk driving not only because they can, but so people everywhere knows to give the gift that keeps one living.

A campaign called Holiday P.A.S.S. is narrowing on this issue. Last year, there were over 2400 alcohol related crashes, 824 seriously injured, and 78 dead. That was all in the month of december, and just in the state of Texas.

P.A.S.S. (Person Appointed to Stay Sober) is exactly what it does. The campaigns to inform and remind those planning to attend holiday parties the consequences of choosing to drive while intoxicated.
