Facebook Post Leads to Arrest

(WKYC) As the nation continues to mourn last week's shooting tragedy in Connecticut, an Ohio man finds himself in trouble with the law all over a post on Facebook.

Joseph Resovsky, 20, says he wanted to make a point with this Facebook post but it could cost him a $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail.

This case promises to test the limits of free speech and answer the question: At what point do hurtful words become criminal?

Resovsky is now rethinking last Saturday's lunchtime Facebook post. He wrote, "I'm so happy somebody shot up all those little (expletive). Viva la School Shootings!!!!"

Medina police were inundated with complaint calls and emails. They charged him with inducing panic.
