City of Brownwood Offering Christmas Tree Recycling

The City of Brownwood is offering Christmas tree recycling.

Real Christmas trees may be taken to the Recycling Center at 6800 FM 45 South (1 mile south of the National Guard Armory) or placed at the curb for free pickup by calling 643-4200.

All trees must be free of lights, decorations, tree stands and not be wrapped in plastic or netting. Trees with flocking will be acceptable.

For more information or questions about the City of Brownwood's Christmas tree recycling program please call the Recycling Center at 641-8832.

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday December 24th and Tuesday December 25th and will reopen on Wednesday December 26th.
